It's just for marketing. I never use the stockpot. Real stock ftw.

@CraigWeir1986 that's cuz these videos are meant for home cooks. So everything is simplified and made relatively dummy proof. Also, I think these days Marco himself doesn't care too much for over complicated dishes.

I made this dish today. It was simple and delicious, but I would suggest some additional seasoning is required as the stock pot alone does not fully enhance the flavour of the sauce.
