Metropolitan Community Church
Of Detroit
November 21st
9 and 11am. Services
During the ceremony we will be accepting donations on behalf of the Ruth Ellis Center.
The Ruth Ellis Center provides street outreach programs, a drop-in center and Ruth House, a residential program, all to support LGBT youth in the Metro-Detroit Area. Please give generously, remember the LGBT youth of today are our future.
With so many of our young people forced to live on the streets and with winter fast approaching they are in great need of warm coats, winter boots, gift cards to local businesses (i.e. McDonalds, CVS, etc), toiletries, etc. Cash donations will also be welcomed so that the center can purchase much needed items. The center will insure that your heartfelt gifts are distributed to those in the most need.
thank you Aaron, and thank you Jenna....truth can't live in shadows

We need to always be vigiliant because of those that would harm and kill us. I think all of us have the name of a person born like us that is now a hatred statistic burned into their memory. Many of us have more then one. While we should take the time to remember our kindred spirits that have been removed before their time. We must also be reminded that we must always keep our own safety in mind vigilantly at all times. One fucked up way to have to live. Thanx Aaron
