  • thats what happens when you have these back yard breeders that breed puppies just to make money...owner and the puppy suffers at the end.....also put some carpet down on that floor....making the condition worse by having the dog walk around on a slippery surface.

  • aww it breaks my heart... my dog does exacly the same....He has 8 months...

  • Not just back yard breeders. Our Golden came from a very reputable breeder and she had severe hip dysplasia too. It can happen even with the best of breeders with all the precautions they take.

  • Aww...:(

  • :(

  • aw thats a shame such a young dog. I had to put my almost 8 yr old dog charlie down 2 weeks ago because of hip dysplasia. He was a cavalier king charles spaniel, so sad he was such a wonderful dog gone before his time.

  • We made the same mistake. I suggest going with a breeder that guarantees all congenital defects. We made the mistake of purchasing a Golden Retriever Puppy then on her first check up finding out she had a heart murmur. The breeder knew of this then failed to disclose it. She has out grown this defect thankfully, but some don't and some die from it.

  • Additional health concerns include hip dysplasia, PRA, cancer, cataracts, skin allergies, heart disease, and excessive weight gain. Do not over feed your Golden Retriever and provide plenty of exercise to keep the weight in check.

  • Thank you for showing us, education is everything. Please go look at my puppy here at "savingbomber". Hope your dog is not in too much pain today! sincerely, debbie

  • @LucyLu964 Hi, I'm from Italy. I surfed the web and I found NuviFlex and LubraFlex. Are they the same thing? Thanks!! Anna

  • in most cases, the parents are having too, but if they don't the lack of exercise contribute to it, especially if you have an active dog and you dont go for a regular walk and one day you go for a vary long walk you will see that the dog is going to have a walking difficulties. if you go on beach and you will see the track in the sand like lines, that is the beginning that something is wrong, mainly do not overexercise and give your dog regular walk and joint supplement if you see earlysign

  • if you start to see your dog having walking difficulty you should start to give him a joins supplement . you will see an improvement in couple of weeks.sooner you start better.
