Nice pulls on that '87 pack. Mis-cut or not I'd be pretty chuffed to get Maddox & Jackson rookie cards in the same pack.

1988 Donruss was the first pack I ever bought, and I paid 45cents for it at the local drugstore. Funny thing is that nobody could have cared less for the 1987 or 1988 fleer basketball packs that were in the store for the same price. Now a full 1988 Donruss wax box is worth about $5, and a 1987-88 Fleer Basketball box is worth about $1,000. To think there was a time period when us kids were more thrilled about a Mike Greenwell or Jose Canseco card, than anything else on the maket. Feeling old

Ah yes, back then I decided I would buy two cases and save them and sell them for a trillion dollars in 20 years. I wisely selected 1987 Topps and 1988 Donruss. 20 years later they are worth 1/4 of what I paid. Good times.
