It sounds to me that if the horse loses then the jock blew it. Watch the race,he didn't blow anything. In fact anything is the key word here. He didn't have anything when it came time to ask BB the question.First off he had a rank horse early, who he was able to get to come back to him. He then just let him gallop down the backside. If you think he blew it by pulling him up,well you need to go study raceriding a little more before you make uneducated comments,no offense but thats a fact.
He blew it on BB??? I'll try to be polite here, but your way off on this one. It is apparent you know nothing on raceriding. What happened, did you lose a bundle on BB in the Belmont???
desourmoux's one of the best jockeys in the buisness. He's smart, he's been around a while, and he's a great guy. He did NOTHING wrong. all you people that DO THINK he did something wrong, you obviously don't know much about horse racing. U have to have a good horse to win a race, and that day Big Brown was not ready, or something went wrong. Kent is great...bottom line.
hes a great jockey and people blame him on big browns lose the quarter crack didnt help at all those can be very bad and it was so fucking hot also he wasn't jacked up on steriods either
KD rode a terrible race. Poor Big Brown. KD burnt him out b4 the first turn - fighting him all the way. He should have stayed on the rail and let him go. But KD thought he knew better, got himself in trouble, then threw that race. If he was so worried about BB hurting, it sure took him a LONG time to hop off then not even glance down or LOOK at the horse...just walked away. Probably trying to think of a good excuse. What an egomaniac. He blew it for BBrown!
Investigated for what? how did he hold BB back?? and you know this because....? The horse had no give, low O2 sats and dehydrated, I would bet. That is not Desormeaux's job. His was simply to read the horse and ride to win. can't do it if there ain't a horse there....
because big brown wasn't performing nearly up to expectations and he might have been injured. frankly the only people affected by that were the bettors. he did the right thing.
Whatever other problems he has, he doesn't have the common sense to remove his sunglasses when he is being interviewed in front of a camera,
