iMac Aluminum 24" Desk Setup

This is my new 24" iMac. 2.66GHz Core2Duo, 4GB ram

The wall mount if from Ergomart.

nice setup but im going to have to dis-agree with the your option to wall mount..personally i like the screen staring straight at me, you might different i dont know. once agen nice setup mate

I like the display directly in front of me as well. That's what makes the wall mount so great. A lot of times I like to put my chair against the wall to the left of the desk and put my feet up on my bed while using the iMac, so i just swing the iMac out and angle it so that its in front of me. Also, sometimes I like to watch some shows from Hulu, so I just lay in my bed and angle the iMac in my direction. i am not confined to one viewing angle. It's great.

I've never seen an iMac with the stand taken off!

Is it hard to do?

Not hard at all. Just google iMac VESA adapter. Apple sells it for 29.99.

@PianoScience you lie the imac down on a soft surface and slot a business card or credit card and move the stand and it should give way and revile the screws(:

The wall mount somehow doesn't fit in the whole picture. Othe than that it's a nice setup.

How did you take the stand off of the imac? I have looked throughout the web and I have found no answers. I saw a video on the Apple cinema display being taken off and i tried the same thing but it did not work with the imac.
