Walkthrough of the Garmin nuvi 200w GPS. Should be a good overview for most garmin systems.

  • Great job. One question though... how did you change the startup picture while it's loading?

  • That is under settings, I put pictures on there with an SD card and then selected from the settings view.

  • Sorry, meant to play the boot-up at 2x to save some time. Sorry. Also the screen refresh rate is a little annoying.

  • do u know how 2 take of the pin if i dont remember it

  • i was wondering where do u see what map date info i have was wondering when they were updated last thanx

  • 30 secs is way too long to wait for it to boot up. I might miss out on something really cool in my important life. I don't know how the rest of the world's pawns can take waiting for anything. It must be terrible not being cool like me. I bought a special toothbrush that brushes my teeth for me because I can't waste the 2-3 minutes it might take to do it manually.

  • i have the windshield mount. with my stereo, i've vibrated the mirror off of my windshield before. and this hasn't fallen off yet so i'd say the windshield mount is plenty strong

  • You should get these portable mounts that you can buy at Target or Costco or other places like that. It's essentially a small sandbag that holds your Garmin on your dashboard or somewhere and you can move it from car to car.

  • I just got one for xmas and I love it. Believe me, I live in Los Angeles and I needed it.

Only thing that sucks is the dashboard mount is a one time use. You cant move it because the stickiness wears off. The windshield mount is great but Im skeptical of how secure it is to staying on. Anybody have any tips?

  • Thanks for the nice review. I'm interested in features for pedestrain use.

  • I have it and its awesome

  • I love it. I just have to download more maps for it. But then again no need unless i want to go to canada lol.
