One thing that we love to do is make tissue papered lanterns out of jars. We really enjoy making scenes that circle the jars. thank you for your videos.

i have 2 boys who likes making things.
in the summer, we'd go on picnics in the park and find leaves & make leaf rubbings either using crayons or pencils. we then frame them in plain wooden frames (from ikea). we hot glue on small rocks, pine cones, twigs or shells around the frame.
i've also had them draw monsters on paper. i enlarge that drawing on the copier and then cut out a pattern and trace onto colorful felt, stuff w/ batting and stitch together to make their very own stuffed creation!

My kids are grown now, but we used to like to paint using watercolors in the summertime.
Beautiful cards, I love the colors and the design.

We love ROCK PAINTING! The joy starts on various family adventures, when we collect rocks for different purposes: a welcome rock for the porch, love-rocks for decoration on the dinner table, happy-birthday rocks and figure rocks with eyes, mouth and hair, to play with! Nature has so much to offer - no need to buy toys in a store!
When doing the actual painting and decoration (we glue things onto the rocks) it allows us to be creative outdoors, enjoying the sun! Great vacation crafting!
