Splitframe Saw - Setting and Cutting

Often, the ROV is asked to observe diver operations both during potentially dangerous situations and during simple operations. During this dive, the ROV observed the diver while he set a splitframe saw during the "wedding cake" portion of a sub-sea P&A operation. The ROV provides a stable platform and video for the third party operators and client representative so the diver can focus on getting the job done as quickly as safety allows. The ROV can then remain close to the operation while cutting and lifting operations proceed, allowing the diver to watch from a safe distance - since the ROV lights illuminate the jobsite. Utilizing the ROV in operations such as these help to insure safe and efficient completion of the project.
