  • What was the safety reason for no longer using the brass nock points?

  • Although rare the brass nock locator could become lose and fly off injuring a bystander or archer.

  • @kauboy9816...the brass nocking points got too expensive and they moved constantly...Olympic recurve shooters refuse to use brass nocking points.

  • there is only one other sport that has a better safety record than archery..and that is ping pong...

    yea i said the same thing when i found that out in coaching class last year.
