But you see the real problems of comprehension, understanding, open minds? is simply that we are programed from infancy to be do and have certain things in our lives, be they right or wrong, and then,millions of yrs. of CONTAGION OF ABORATION!, which is the acceptance of morals and standards that are way off track from reality. The bible is the perfect example. "God commands the slaughter of infants suckling mothers breasts? Kill all boys and take the girls for yourselves? Pure insanity!

Now regarding evolution, I would agree with the theory, yes it is a theory still. But I would also agree with some religious aspects that descredit it.
I think as long as one can take in both sides of anything, let it swirl around in their brain and keep an open mind before making a definate decision to go for one over another - then thats the best way to go about things - in my opinion anyway.

When I came to the realisation, gained with the help of the great people of the world - the buddha, gandhi, tolstoy, m.l. king, bill hicks, haillie sellasi I, bob marley, jimi hendrix, john lennon, jiddu krishnamurti and so on - that we are all one, I am you, you are me, we are all the same, everything is interbeing, then you look at things in a completely different way.
Race, people, animals, nature, nurture - and so forth

Humans are also animals, and just because we COULD kill as many other animals we want doesn't mean we SHOULD!
Human surviving and comfort doesen't depend of animals!

This is so true. All the main religions place a gulf of separation between human and other animal life. This has created a terrible situation with regards to our stewardship of the planet.
Evolution is not such a hard thing to grasp. One need only understand a few basic principles, acquaint oneself with the Theory and join the dots. It's intellectual laziness, fear of reality and the doggedness of dumb which underlies the unwillingness of people to accept this fundamental truth about life.
