I love the painting, but I also really like your process, I think if people painted in this way they would be more successful. Your work still has the essence of the spontaneous strokes of the beginning, combined with an accurate felling of depth in the lighting, which is harder to capture in textured works. Im sure you know all this, I just want you to know it shows. :)

Thanks for replying. I think I'll probably use acryllics myself for most of my plein air work due to drying time. I look forward to taking closer looks into your work. Do you have a blog or something? Trine (Norway)

Thank you for very informative videos. It looks like you use oils but I started to wonder a bit since you ended up with a light blue sky on top of a very red underpainting on one of them. Do you use linquin or similar to speed up drying or is there a special technique to avoid the colours blending too much?

These demos are done with acrylics but when I use oils I just work fat over thin and don't overwork the brush strokes.
