pure comedy gold!

I have built my own solar panels system. It's very easy and cheap now

Well that was intelligent, witty & persuasive - NOT. Even NASA's James Hansen opposes the cap&trade bill, pointing out that it will do absolutely nothing for the environment.
But hey, I guess it's fun to portray those who disagree with you as dumb Neanderthals who assault & rob people.

There is nothing wrong about forcing tax and legislation, it is the essence of society and capitalism (propriety right). If there is no authority most individuals abuse of their freedom (drinking and driving, yelling at night, overuse energy ...) and deprive others' freedom...
It is a surviving issue (economically or physically) to be more Sustainable, and its implementation needs to be fast (we waited too long already) and applied to everybody; so I don't see why it will be wrong.

I think solar or alternative energy is a choice we should all be able to make. However forcing it on others through tax and legislation is wrong. I read quotes at the congressmancaveman website from the congressmen and they seemed reasonable.

That must have hurt a bit- even with the helmet! Well-delivered, and definitely an attention-getter, which is at least part of the point of these things...

Hey! Is that Raygun running away? Remember when he took the solar panels off the White House as soon as he got in? Killed the alternative subsidies and and really hurt the businesses that were working on improving them. Set us all back 30 years or so.
-
This is funny in some ways but sad and too true in others. I'm embarrassed by my Congressman Frank Wolf's vote against clean energy.

If it's the Geico caveman maybe at least he can save 15% on his car insurance?
Well I can't say I saw that coming! LOL
