@wborgstro or at the least -- the BEST to come from the Russian tradition of Great Players in so many years. I believe, as a pianist myself, Mister Gryaznov deserves great success in the scale of Richter for the rest of his career as a musician. Kissin is , compared to Gryaznov , overhyped , imo. Gryaznov has a "quiet" presence that GLOWS and then sets on fire MINUS the theatricalities of kissin and many others of the generation. BRAVO

I have come to believe that Gryaznov is perhaps the most talented pianist in the world. His transcriptions and performances are impeccable.

The performance is impeccable but the one who took the video kept on zooming awkwardly in and out its dizzying.
