  • I like your videos very much and I respect your knowledge and skill. But I do have one criticsm. You made a comment how in a boxing punch, you bring your hand back to set up the punch. This is not true. We are taught to throw the punch with no telegraphing. Also, you can't always be close enough to apply the more squared up Wing Chun punches. The jab or jkd straight lead as well as the straight rear are invaluable tools that can really help the Wing Chun fighter.

  • you are correct, but when you turn your shoulders or lift your heel or heels off the ground, etc...this is no longer classical wing chun, but a modified wing chun, which is a whole different subject.

  • Your vids are so insightful and inspiring. I have a quick question. Which part of the fist do you strike with?

  • the whole fist should make contact but as you extend your punch, you "set off the grenade" which will concentrate the extension of the fist to the bottom three knuckles.

  • jin your wing chun is great nice to see someone on tou tube who understands WT but more so someone who can teach breakdown and explain the concepts really really well i now understand the WT punch TY

  • thank you for the kind words, peace!

  • hey jin, i dont get how you put your "body frame" to punch. I've been trying to do this for days, but my punches still has no power in them, i use a heavy bag to train btw.

  • Dear Jin, I've started to understand how to use the mechanics. Thanks for your video. I still have one question. Is it possible to use this mechanic to punch fast? When I spar with my training partners. It seems that I take too much time in powering / setting up the punch.

  • @sunnybash1 tell me, it really must hurt to be that stupid!!

ANYONE can just talk foolish garbage fighting, and that's what your doing, you need to listen to,To understand that it's not your basic fighting,This is a Method of Control,Training your mental responses and your Physical,Understanding how to be fluid

    and drive that power.

your just a shit talking punk A kid, so you'll get at some point IF you open your mind and not your mouth.

  • @chinaboxer Is it possible to do rapidfire turn punches as if it were a straight blast, or would this compromise form? I've seen someone straight blast in that fashion somewhere on yt where the guy looked like he was shifting the angle of his feet for each turn punch.

  • @TheOmegaMC u sound like a fake pussy. sure youre fighting a 'street thug bully' suprised if ur fihgting anyone at all. just in case you are though dont use this wing chun stuff itll take years to learn. just use your anger kill him as soon as u see him. smash his face with elbows grab his head smack it on your knee headbutt kick his knee rip his balls scratch his eyes bite the mutherfuker if he grabs you. keep it natural. also i aint pretendin to be expert im 16 just experience shit

  • I don't like this distance restriction

  • @CritYourFace no need to be skinny.

  • I wish I was skinny so I can learn stuff like this

  • I would love to find someone in my area who could train me in the art of Wing Chun at an affordable or reasonable cost.
