The Complete Malcolm X on DVD: http://malcolmxfiles.blogspot.com/

"Who are you? You don't know. Don't tell me "negro" that's nothing. What were you before the white man named you a negro? And where were you and what did you have? What was yours? What language did you speak then? What was your name? How did you lose it? What was your tongue? How did he take your tongue? How did the man wipe out your history?"

  • Knowledge of self is the beginning of all other knowledge. If you don't know where you come from and you don't know where you've been, then you don't know where you are and where you're going. Erasing a man's history is designed to rob him of the confidence and sense of self-worth that is the root of our identity. It is dehumanization designed to allow others to then control that man. However, a man who knows his history and knows who he is will always have the confidence to assert his rights.

  • He was a great man because he dealt with the truth.

  • Well, I know what I'm writing my essay on.

  • very powerful.

  • Powerful ma fucker!!!

  • Democracy doesn't mean any of those things he was saying, never will. Democracy is about the majority having their views heeded to over the minority.

Slavery was rife in Africa, white men didn't even have to leave the coast. It was suicide to leave the coast. Black men brought Black men to the coast and sold slaves just like they would of traded slaves inland.

  • Malcolm X inspired me to write some of the songs I've written. A POWERFUL message with flava.

  • Well I mean the reason sub-saharan Africans have no history is because they did not record any of it. The only things people know about sub-saharan africa are being discovered now, the Bantu culture which pretty much encompassed the whole continent and traded goods as far as India and China, they had a powerful standing army (loosely speaking) a health services and even more than modest architecture, which was covered up by racist european colonisers, until now of course.

  • now if iam wrong put me in jail

  • @ircmaster Yeah Obama jocked malcom style...

  • wow! Malcolm X is the man! fuck Obama
