I learned to play off the knee after taking lessons from Dr. Campbell of Michigan State University during a summer band camp and felt it was one of the best tips ever.
I also wanted to add that I had the pleasure of hearing Ifor play at a "Horn Fandango" where he played a Cherubini piece that he called "An old drunken sailor". He had us all laughing with the way he played that piece and I've never forgotten how entertaining Ifor was that day. I've nothing but the greatest respect for him!
