  • Wow it never fails how God can use these videos to give me a wake up call. Praise him for it!

  • Your potential is your calling, it's the same thing. God has given you a talent (potential) so you can develop it and then use it to reveal God to others. You have too many talentless, unskilled, and uneducated Christians who have no influence in the world because they never made anything of themselves. God's gift to you is potential and your gift to Him is to use it to glorify Him.

  • Thanks! May have needed this video at a time as this.

  • @EnvyMy75 Hmm..I'd say it depends on how you expect to hear from God. faith comes from hearing the word of God, so I'd say God speaks to us mainly when we read Scripture, listen to sound biblical teaching, meditate on our spiritual health, etc.

  • I'm actually right in the thick of this right now. The problem I'm having is that I have ADHD, and even in complete silence my train of thought only lasts about 10 seconds. Is it poor faith for me to be prepared for God to speak to me, but not expect him to?

  • God bless you pastor Drisscol! Sometimes people of God in the ministry are more focused on what they can do, on what could be useful which is not necessary a priority for their calling. It is like seeking the blessings first before the Kingdom of God.

God's call is specific and it is a command and not and option among other things.

  • Well....I must agree with this guy, sometimes we are so driven to reach our potential that we miss, or almost miss, God's calling for us!! Almost happened to me! I wonder how many other things I missed because I was trying to reach my "potential" when God wanted me over there doing something else
