4 Cruisers leaving Huntington RR Station to do the Port Jefferson Bustitution. 2 MCI MC-9s, one with a 8v71N to a Slicer Manual and a 6v92TA to a Allison HT-741, with a Prevost H3-45 and a MCI J4500!

  • Been long time since I heard a 8v71N, a lot of MCI9s were repowered with 6v92Ts. The 8V71N sure sounds intimidating, and rev like hell! Those 8v71Ns were workhorses, they could scream all day.

  • That Detroit Diesel 8V71N mean business. Nothing like hearing a Slicer Manual Transmission. Nice job catching that sound.
