今から約15年前の1993年ごろ、金沢大学にてピンポンをするロボットを開発をして­ました。ＮＥＣ製のＰＣ９８００シリーズのパソコンを2台を使用して制御とボールの予­測をしていました。2台のパソコンはＲＳ２３２Ｃでデータのやり取りをしています。見­えない位置にカメラ2台がおいてあり、画像処理装置により1秒間に60回、ＸＹＺの位­置データを取得して、このデータ列に基づいてボールを予測します。
