Demonstration of the basic Seated Twist, including modifications and breathing. Not meant to be full instruction, it gives good visual information on the basics and helps you understand the connection between breathing and deeper twists. The modifications and breathing are also great for people who struggle with this pose.
Twists are excellent for loosening the entire spine, neck and shoulders. They are said to trim the waist and balance hormones. Good for helping restore balance and for developing good posture.
Demonstrated by the founder of Serenity Yoga, Corinne Friesen. Filmed at her home in British Columbia, Canada. Presented by AudioYoga.com

Found this video very helpful. Have been using this technique to prepare me for a more difficult asana which is part of the Kriya Yoga program I follow.

Thank you. :) I'm sorry to disappoint you, but, yes, I am married, with 4 kids living at home with me. And thank you for the other compliments about looking great for my age. If you knew how Youtube had me listed at 84 years old, you'd find that even more amazing! LOL We'll have to chalk it all up to yoga!
