Quest for Truth: The Backslider

Why is it so difficult for Christians to understand simple concepts like carbon dating, fossil records, abundance of evidence or even that the Genesis story was handed down by word of mouth for generations, and at some point, it might have been embellished a bit before anyone wrote it down, and a few hundred generations may have been skipped over for memory sake, and a deity may have been thrown in their to help explain the difficult parts to questioning children.
Why do they not understand that believing in the Bible because the Bible says to is the worst kind of reasoning.

@URaLIARdude Some theists that are not so frightened by the indoctrination believe in evolution and that god has a hand in it. The bible says God created life it doesn't say how he done it and as some Christians believe the creation days are not days but eras.

Saying that evolution is myth ,lies is yourr close minded dogma, the theory may be wrong but so far the evidence is said to prove otherwise, this isn't some huge conspiracy against theism. Its a theory that is still being proven

If he exists.

I only know that if he exists, the one referenced in Judao-Christian mythology is not it.

Too many discrepancies. To much hate. Too many different beliefs all claim him as their source of truth.

And even the Bible tells you confusion can only come from evil sources.

God gives those who Love Him, and obeys Him LIFE ABUNDANT here and in the life to come. That is why it is called.....HEAVEN. I've read the bible. The god it describes is pure, self-centered evil.

There is no good in a god that needs you to love him.

Sounds simular to Metallica's "God That Failed". Or just the simple minded creed of the dead in spirit that know not God, and are headed to that eternal place of torment known as HELL. THEY can ddismiss the existence of God, and claim to have the truth but evolutionists are either liars, blind, and or God haters.

There is a TRUTH in this world, A truth that Heals, saves, and restores that which was broken, and lost. Praise Jesus for His love, Salvation, and Gospel of reconciliation!
