They just invented this huge Christmas shopping season 100 years ago. Putting food on the table will be far more important than putting gifts under the Christmas tree.

Obama isn't going to be able to solve the crisis with swift resolve. It is just going to be more of the same. People are losing their jobs every day. The first thing governments will do is to try to squeeze more money out of the average person. Taxes will go up. Don't spend a penny more than you can afford. If you are studying liberal arts in college, you are wasting your time. You had better go to community college to learn a skill.
