In this video, I state my opinion that radio commentator (and former chairmen of Focus on the Family) James Dobson has an obligation to rethink his prejudiced material regarding homosexuality in the church and home. People have died and been arrested because of him. Listen closely, one and all. It could pertain to you.

  • @horsinarounddoc You're only flesh and blood like me. It isn't up to you to make me pretend not to be what I am - anymore than it is up to me to make you say "I AM a lesbian."

  • @horsinarounddoc "Just don't allow yourself to be deceived and call yourself a Christian when you choose to NOT follow the teachings of Christ." You're nobody to tell me that. You follow His teachings less than me. You deny the part of you which He instilled in you, the capacity to love. You may not hate, but nor do you love.

"It is not the judgments of men which open or shut the gates of Heaven." If you can't understand what that means, you aren't fit to tell me how I sin.

  • @CircleCityEric God is who He is, not who you think He should be. (common mistake). You cannot pay "honor" to Him by I method you see fit. Just as Cain's sacrifice of fruit and vegetables were not accepted, we must pay honor in the ways God lays out in the Bible.

  • @CircleCityEric You use words like weapon and condemnation. You are not under attack. Sin is the issue. Whether you choose to ignore the scripture which says "Be ye holy as I am holy" and innumerous others is the point. Can't you believe that God uses people to make you aware of His teachings and not just attack you?

I have no hate for you. Just don't allow yourself to be deceived and call yourself a Christian when you choose to NOT follow the teachings of Christ.

  • @horsinarounddoc After all, you're not really having a conversation with me, only using literalism as a blunt weapon.

  • @horsinarounddoc What I then discovered was that I wasn't honoring the Lord or my parents by pretending as you are. I was honoring a select group of other humans whose prejudices were unacknowledged and wrapped in scripture passages like poisoned hot dogs. I realized that if I were true to myself and not those other people (even if they are Christians), that's how I would honor the Lord.

Now, would you please leave this matter alone? You won't convince me to pretend anymore.

  • @horsinarounddoc Save your energy for something positive. I was where you are once, afraid to accept what I am, in complete conflict with reality. Then, I heard about a minister from Portland being accused of lesbian practice an acquitted. I thought of how ludicrous it is to acquit someone of love. Later on, I remembered Exodus 20:16 "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor," and I realized it was as much about yourself as it is about your neighbor.

  • @CircleCityEric 1 Corinthians 5:11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.

The shame is on anyone who would promote living your life anyway you want and deceiving people into thinking that is what Christ taught.

  • @CircleCityEric I have considered your words. Consider what I have written are 90% scripture and not my words, but those of God. I am not a hater and you falsely accuse me of treating you like you are different.

You are no different from me when I gave into sexual lusts. The only difference is I became saved. God cannot be in the presence of sin. That is why he sent Jesus as a payment. However, Jesus taught, "Go and sin no more".

  • @horsinarounddoc The shame is yours. Do unto others as you would have done unto you. This you have yet to even try. Don't write here again until you've reconsidered everything.
