@holmborn you can turn off the clicks, also - although i think the repeater method is fine and impressive in some ways, i prefer running the tune instead - mainly because it feels a lot less like programming. There will be at least 3 runners for this tune and the footage from that will make up only half of the video so i'm taking it in a few other directions as well.

DO NOT use pressure plates for note blocks. there will be clicking sounds. and there will be a lot of them.
use repeaters or just redstone contraptions. look it up at the wiki or something.
i tell you. if you are going to go with pressure plate note block songs, its going to blooooooooooow
