Monster Hunter Tri - Offline Urgent Bowgun - Part 1 - Mating Season

Welcome to part 1 of my 7 part series showing the end game quests for Monster Hunter Tri. I will be doing all 7 quests with a bowgun and all equipment will be low rank. These videos will be full length and uncut. I'll try my best to show all of my equipment details in the beginning of the videos through the abuse of picture in picture. Enjoy.

The element jewel in the helmet is pointless in this setup.

what skills do you have on that armor set?

@Hitman38200 Pierce S Boost, Pierce All Up, Steadiness +2 and Element Attack Down. There's a link in the description that shows how its put together if you like. All said, it was a silly pierce setup. I should've stuck with the Jaggi frame for the gun.

@GDorofu ok thanks do you know a good pellet setup I allready use your pierce setup but I like pellet more

@Hitman38200 For the gun, I like Barozooka and the other two parts Royal Launcher, in low rank anyway. For the armor, Ludroth and Baggi are nice. One gives Pellet Lv1 Up and the other gives Pellet S Boost. Never tried mixing them to get both, though. In high rank there's the Dober set which does give both skills however.

I love how Cha-Cha can ruin a bomb run only to eat a fireball for you. He's always with me offline.

@ash0man I used to loath him when all that I used was explosive shots, its bad enough that he just completely negates a crag, but when he hits a cluster shot and you both blow sky high, thats just rage inducing. Now that I use pierce primarily, though, I've become quite happy with the little guy, since they go right through him.

By the way, I just found out that signaling tends to make him run to you, that was probably the root of all my troubles all those times so long ago. Love that bugger.

@Darklordlucas I'm still postin' them. I should be doing the Four Horns quest tonight. The profile I'm using for this is only at 100 hours. I basically started it a while ago just to record these quests, so I raced up to this with minimal gear. Haven't even gotten a Rathalos or Lagiacrus plate on this profile yet. As for the total time... well, I'm kind of embarrassed about that. Let's just say its a little north of 300.

@GDorofu Dude, you got skills. I don't have time to go watch em all now, but i dare say i have a lot of respect for your double diablos within the time limit. Sadly, I haven't been able to finish the whole game, have been without wii for 4 months. Still gotta get all armors. And weapons. And awards. And everything in a new bowgunner acc. This game absorbs time in a way never seen before. How many hours you got clocked? I'm at 300, maybe half of what i wanna spend on it.
