Wow...As a long time participant in this great hobby...I'm more than a little concerned about your recovery tecnique...Using a folding shovel in a manicured yard, hacking open a hole and busting up the sod, certainly is not a good example for all the new guys out there watching these videos...More and more sites are being lost every day due to poor recovery and backfill...We have to be sensitive to the land owners or we lose...Please show videos with correct recovery information....

How much money is a Fisher F75? Does it tell you what the signal might be, for example it says the target is a penny? Cool helmet camera!

People lose sight of what all these machines are... metal detectors... at the end of the day, they all go beep when a metallic object passes through the radio signal produced by the coil.
Buy within your budget, and look at good accessories. Some detectors will search very deep, I guess it all depends on how much you like digging ?

hea Greg the question i have for you is, how does the new Fisher line compare to the original line is Fisher CZ-70 Pro and 1270X versions
tatter0035 3 years ago
The only older line of Fisher that I used was a CZ-5, and it was not a good relic hunter...good coin hunter, but just didn't handle heavy iron well. I know the 1200 series Fishers were (and still are) good relic machines. The F75 and F70 (only two I've used) are great in heavy iron, as they have tremendous disc. and target seperation...fast recovery speed as well...however, build quality is not as good as in the older line...I think the F70 is better built than the F75.
