I believe in this case she had been secretly spending thousands and thousands of dollars behind his back. She had ruined the family financially and it was going to come out in a couple of days, so she murdered him so she wouldn't have to face him.

so her claim was she suffered "years of physical, mental, and emotional abuse", ok...then the solution to that is LEAVE your abuser, NOT shoot him while he sleeps. the fact she chose to stay in an abusive relationship makes her a fucking tool for not standing up for herself and her children. we all know if a man stood there and told us this exact same story, our judicial system would have his ass carted and castrated quicker than a lunch break. note that the jury was 10 women, and 2 men. shocker
