33 Jahren Staatspräsident Burkina Fasos
und wollte sein Land reformieren. Er nahm den Kampf gegen Hunger und Korrup-
tion auf und verbesserte das Gesund- heitssystem. Während eines Putsches wurde er ermordet. Anhand von Archivbildern und Berichten
von Weggefährten zeichnet der Film das
Porträt des charismatischen Staatsmanns
Thomas Sankara, der auch der "Che Gue-
vara Schwarzafrikas" genannt wird.

Das gleiche passiert gerade in der Elfenbeinküste.

Frankreich will den aktuellen demokratisch gewählten Präsident LAurent Gbagbo durch Gewalt und eine Medien Putsch stürtzen, um Alassane Ouattara an die Macht zu bringen, weil dieser mit Nicolas Sarkozy dem französichen President befreundet ist.
