@Pilot51081 8,000' of runway really isn't short for most aircraft on landing, especially not a 737. Stopping as fast as possible is not the only consideration. Landing on 25 is kind of convenient as the terminal is close to the end of the runway, so it makes a lot of sense to go easy on the brakes and reverse and roll to the end (shorter taxi, easier on the airplane, off the runway as fast or quicker)

That can be short for a 737. But now that you mention it, I don't know why a CRJ would have trouble rolling out on that runway, even if it did land a little late. It probably was landing fast.

Nice! I noticed the snow on the ground. Weird in March. Short runway airn't it! I also have recorded a landing at newport news.

Not really; 7/25 is right at 8,000'. In comparison, 3 of ATL's runways are 9,000'.
