This is my first attempt to shoot a trap video with my little Canon SD990IS digital. Not optimal, obviously, but then it wasn't really designed with this use in mind. I may add some music and post another version at some point.

  • was that at delaware county field and stream

  • @warhomo Exactly right. I was on my own that day (as you can tell). Not ideal, but when you get the urge to knock down some clays, it's hard to resist.

  • I notice the spent shell is always held by the ejector, is this a feature of the 391?

  • When I purchased the 391 from its first owner, it came with a shell catcher, a small plastic clip that snags the casing as it ejects. It's both a courtesy and convenience when shooting singles: no empties to retrieve from the ground and no one hit by flying shells. For doubles, I simply remove it. Very easy.

    Safe shooting, Katashtropie. Regards, John

  • Excellent, I have just got into clay shooting and was thinking of getting a 391 (already got a Fabarm Euro 3 Semi and an O/U) but might go for the extrema

Wonder if I can get a shell catcher for my current semi as I dont think I'm very popular on DTL
