Introduction to my series on why believing in god is not possible for an honest person and why it is a deliberate act of evil.

Contents:
Part 1: Proof of the non-existence of god.
Part 2: Ridicule of the ludicrous arguments put forward by theists in a superlatively inept attempt to rationalise their faith. These are merely a smokescreen for the truth that belief in god is in reality a reason-rejecting leap of faith and a rejection of rationality as the only means to knowledge.
Part 3: Rejection of reason as means towards the abuse of reason.
-Theists reject reason in order to assert god's existence then attempt to use god as the premise in deductive syllogisms
Part 4: Abuse of reason as a means to the abuse of morality.
-Once god is claimed as the creator of the universe and the arbiter of morality, with his existence and views outside of rational analysis (since they must be accepted on faith), morality is also removed from the realm of rational analysis. If the priest says that 'god thinks x, y and z' who are you to disagree since you can't prove he doesn't think it and you can't prove he doesn't exist.

  • Volcanos prove the bible is wrong.

  • I'm through the first part and so far it is "thoroughly awesome"!

  • You are completely right!

My life was completely dishonest and I was a coward. I know "Christianity" was a major contributor to my waste of life. I have a vivid memory of leaving mass when I was about 8 and I realized it was wrong, I didn't believe. A priest said just go through the motions and you'll eventually believe. Don't think, just do. God (or whatever calls for sacrifice) only "gave" me self-loathing. It is evil.

  • Cheers chris, I'm intending to do part 2 tomorrow, but I don't intend to rush this video series because I'm going to make it thoroughly awesome.

  • Ironic how you do this video at a Shinto shrine :P

    Damn animism!
