Vibraphone Solo - "Consumed by the Universe" - Eric C. W. Peel

This would be the vibes solo I've been working on and off for about 6 months. The title means a few different things, and it can really only be understood on a personal level. I will say that the (obvious part is that the) piece expresses my and maybe all humans' deep fascination for the universe.

I used Sibelius 6 and Virtual Drumline 2.5.

great music Eric! You made me feel like writing for percussion ensembles again :) And it would be interesting to explore some 12-tonality or dissonance from time to time - those are powerful devices as well

It's C2 to C6, so 4 octaves C-C. but I have another version written for a standard 3-octave vibes, F-F. Let me know if you're interested in the piece :)
