This movie came out in 1984. It is my favorite Christmas movie from my childhood. I wish I had had it on last month, but December was a little hectic.

Does anyone know if they ever released this movie in the US? I know there was a pal version. I grew up with this movie, watched it every year.

Currently there isn't. Just the Europe Region 2 version that was done last year. I was really hoping that they would have done it this year since it was the 25th anniversary.

This movie is a classic. Spent $20 for a used vhs copy of it on ebay a few yrs back. I think it is only available on DVD in Europe.

It was officially released in Europe on DVD. I think I got a DVD copy from ebay...I think. That is what this is from. It is obviously from a tape, but better than nothing. Glad you are enjoying it.
