@1AshtonMartin Morris Day was more than just a charismatic front man. He played the role in The Time, but he had more talent than that. He is a musician in his own right as all the members of The Time are. Prince and Morris TOGETHER produced The Times first two albums.

well after 30 years of The Time they have made there mark in music regardless of Prince.and him not lettling them use the name anymore is just wrong. It's 1983 all over again.
Sir/Ma'am, Prince's undeniable talent overshadows all the choreographed routines, personality and talent that Morris ever. He just was a charismatic frontman, but Prince (in performance mode) was that and MUCH more.
I love him/The TIme, and I'm not sure where you tried to go comparing him to Prince but...
@1Islandbmet FACT: Prince gave Morris Day (his former drummer) as well as the rest of The Time all of their signature moves....when he put them together, he rehearsed them for hours on how to play their instruments & dance at the same time
Wish i could see the Dick Clark interview from this episode
