Archival clip from an early 1950's reel that lays out the destabilizing social effects of women working outside their traditional role in the home, and the threat to children, the nuclear family and American manhood. Brief interview with Dr. Marynia Farnham ( co-author of the 1947 book MODERN WOMAN, The Lost Sex) seen at her psychiatric clinic in NY City where she is "strongly opposed to careers for women". Dr. Farnham voices her opinion on modern husbands who fear "Their Wives Have Become Rivals".
