this is 2 years old and still in development, therefore this was early alpha footage. Even if what you say was true, they'd be placeholder sounds because Tripwire (the developers) have only been working on sounds this year, not that year.

Sound of MP40 is from Call of Duty 1 + MP40 Texture is too from Call of Duty 1, Sprint from Medal of Honor Airborne... Nice Copy+Paste.
