  • grandmothers keep coming up today...as do gay love affairs, umbrellas, travelling and train journeys.

you've got a beautiful, brilliant, romantic mind.

  • my goodness, thank you! I seem to write about my grandmothers a lot, they were both very influential on how I turned out.

  • Ed: My God, you were born to play "George". Ode To Boy: Intent and direct when he speaks, I watch his lips.

  • favorite parts:

"we are layers of clothes to eachother, we are the scarves we bought in stockholm"

"all i want is to sit opposite from him at a table & to detect desire in his words"

"a man with a broken sense of how to behave"

"broken umbrellas like spiders craving to be opened"

these were my fave becuz they just seemed so pure and individual&something to hang on to. ^_^

  • I love the bit about the records, and not having a turntable. That was just beautiful, and I could imagine it perfectly. Not to mention, my inner music nerd thought it was genius.
