@maniacchris I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree with you. TR is about important subjects too, and BH&R contains a lot of great songs. Just because the band has changed and quite frankly, grown up, that doesn't mean they've 'dumbed down' anything. They change their style with every album and that's what keeps me interested. This is, of course, only my personal opinion, but I strongly believe that Muse's unwillingness to adapt to other peoples expectations is what makes them awesome. :)

They produced the resistance themselves, with only the help of one sound guy, basically meaning they did what ever they felt like.

@maniacchris dumbed down? noo, yeah the resistance is less heavy, and less angry at the world... but it is more classically influenced, in fact matt says the resistance has the most challenging songs he has ever written, suchh as the exogenesis symphony. I wouldn't say they sold out at all.
