Blender - Modeling the female torso - Part 1

This is not meant to be a tutorial, i'm still a newbie! I thought i could share my first attempts with blender and 3d graphics :)

Im confused from 00:44 to 01:14 i have tried doing what you did but for some reason i just cant can you explain like step by step please ^^

@narusasulovers Sorry for the late reply! You have to add two modifiers, the first one being the mirror (so that you can work with just half of the model) and the the second one being the subsurf.

I'm a noob trying to learn. Can you explain what you did at 0:53. How did you extrude like that?

@DarklvlAge Add a "subsurf" modifier and then enable its editing cage (the extrusion has been made pressing the E key)
