Bill Sienkiewicz Draws a Monster! Pt.1

Bill Sienkiewicz works on a monster I commissioned from him at the first NY Comic Con at the Jacob Javits Center, NYC, February 25th, 2006. Bill was working on an Elektra drawing at the same time as my monster...he puts mine aside to dry at the end of this segment and goes back to the Elektra which you can also find here on You Tube. I hope to have the second part of the Monster video up soon.

Hey Mark - Sorry, I should have been more clear. Yep, there were a number of big comic cons at the Javtis Center in the early 90's. This was the first of the 'new' NYCC Comic Cons...it's run by different people. I guess the 'official' title is New York Comic Con and their inaugural year was 2006, when this video was shot.

Just seems to be some sort of sable brush, the type you'd buy in any decent art supply store. I don't know the brand or size.

Not sure what you mean in your description by "FIRST NY Comic Con at the Jacob Javits Center, NYC, February 25th, 2006" since I'm pretty certain I visited NY Comic Cons at the Javitz Ctr years before that. Do you -maybe- mean "first one in a few years", or something like that? Maybe it was Bill's first?
