SLOW right down to nothing when the cars STOP!
Because I have seen drivers GET OUT of their cars to see what is holding everything up!!

Lane splitting = good idea from the perspective of letting bikes through, but think about yourself sitting in a cage just stuck in traffic, you roll the windows down and stick your arm out to feel the air for lack of anything else going on and WHACK your arm lands on the hood of the car in front of you!

In England its legal to 'lane split' even though we call it filtering, but its wise not to go 10mph over what the traffic is doing otherwise it can get dodgy...

people would appreciate lane splitting if they had to sit in the blazing sun with full gear on and the bike starts to overheat from not moving.

All states should change the law to allow lane splitting like in California. Also, drivers should be more understandings by stop trying to throw cigarettes out or open the door. If you're jealous of bikes zooming by in traffic while you're stuck in, then get yourself a bike as well.
