I met George Lazenby at CHILLER theatre convention a few weeks ago. I told him I saw OHMSS on the big screen in 1969, and I have enjoyed it for 40-years as one of the verybest Bond movies. He was pleased.

I saw On Her Majesty's Secret Service when it came out. About fifteen minutes into the movie I forgot about Connery. Lazenby did a fine job and OHMSS is now considered one of the best Bond films of all time. Diana Rigg more than made up for any fault Lazenby may had had. She made you believe she would be the woman that made James Bond give up his lifestyle and settle down to married life.

@MultiUncensored It's not that DaF was a bad movie, it's just that it was a disappointment for many. At the end of OHMSS, Blofeld and Irma Bunt murdered Bond's wife hours after their wedding. The sequel was supposed to be dark and vengeful with Bond seeking revenge. The movie started dark but ended up being too light-hearted and comical. The inclusion of Charles Gray as Blofeld was also a bad idea as Gray, while a good actor, was too comical in comparison to the dark and tough Telly Savalas.

I bet both both teams in sporting events I always win... or more accurately make a profit! This is because of the differences in how bookies calculate odds on events. Special software gives you 100% accurate picks! See link in my channel!

@MyLalinea Diamonds are Forever. Sorry, I shouldn't really use acronyms. I hate them really haha.

Well done! Interesting, how trailers today are more punchy than those of DaF's time. Strange to see the two eras mixed.

Yeah, it's kinda embarrassing to watch old trailers. Which makes me worried, because our trailers will seem like that in 30 odd years. :(
