Finally finished building my home theater! It took longer than I thought but was well worth it. This is an 110" screen with a 1.78:1 aspect ratio. I am using a JVC RS2 HD Projector with B&W speakers, Lexicon Pre-amp and Bryston amps. I added the riser in the second row for stadium seating. This room brings many hours of enjoyment. I know that when I was building my Home Theater I looked for as many others that I could find for ideas. So, I am adding this one to the collection to help anybody else who wants to build one.

  • Im thinking about getting theater seats from Berkline and I want to know, are yours leather match or full leather? Does it really matter either way?

  • @bujoun76

Leather match, the areas you sit on and arm rest are leather, and the rest is leather look a like. It makes it a lot less expensive and looks just as good in a dark room.

  • @bujoun76

These are leather only on the seats, back and arm rest. The sides are leather match. Leather in the areas that get the abuse is a good idea IMHO for better wear. These have the low back area so that the surround sound speakers are not blocked by furniture. Have had them now for three years and would still get them again.

  • Room Size is 15' 2" X 26' 3".

  • Which PJ to get is a very open question, it depends on how much light control you have in your room, the screen size you wish to get, and of course your budget. In

general very good images can be had at a much lower price now a days, but I nice quality new PJ now to at least take a look at would be a SOny Bravia VPL-VW85 or the JVC RS35U or the lesserexpensive JVC RS15U. There are also a few good Home Theater Forums discussing all of these PJ's and others.

  • Hey Thanks, almost 3 years in the making, but now I just enjoy it.

To answer your question it s a

    JVC DLA-RS2U

  • Hope you get this message, just wondering what lamps (The lights on the wall) were used in this video and where to get them? Thanks :0

  • Do you live in Potomac Md.

  • i think you should get a bigger screen

  • Cool! I have a home theater too. Should I make a video of it?

  • Cool cinema lounges, just last friday I bought 2x 4 seated/recliner leather cinema lounges which were called "Outrider" for my cinema room.......

  • Very nice home theater.

  • @16markie16 I can only wish to have something like this. I watch 1-3 movies a day so it would be awesome to have a nice setup

  • LOL rich stuff

  • @Uttelito An HD projector will look just as good, and it will not hurt your eyes as much as a regular TV because the light from the screen is not directly going into your eyes.
