I am shooting myself in the foot for posting this, but call it my answer for "greatest weakness" in a job interview.

  • Fear of failure. I grapple with that too, if anyone has any tips on how to overcome or diminish the fear of it, i'm interested!

    As in Kipling's poem "If":

"If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster

And treat those two impostors just the same

    ...

Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it"

  • Indeed. Welcome to the club of the emotionally askew. Thank you for the courage.

  • If I'm stuck thinking about one thing, I will go for a walk. I know that i wont stop dwelling on it, but at least I get some excercise.

  • I have exactly the same problems, mostly in regards to work and art (thought it was even worse in art school). At work it's more drama than busy-ness that's the heating element, and in art I can't ever please myself.

Thanks for sharing. Seems like rough times for lots of us (I had a hell of time with my thing today). You are slowly convincing me to go back to school though; that's positive.

  • Maybe find a good therapist to talk to; that helps. I've been battling bipolar disorder, and meds have recently been helping. So if your anxiety gets too bad, be open to medication. Smart people can have problems, in the way that more elaborate devices have more ways to go wrong. Glad you're back to vlogging after looong break!

  • Thank you for sharing thoughts and feelings again. You are a pleasure to listen to. Barry
