@Jonryan39 Nope. As I recall Thrash metal came from the San Francisco Bay area. I believe that is the Gay metal you are referring to.

That's funny ! Heaven's edge broke up but Mark Evans the vocalist and Reggie Wu the Guitarist are still playing I they are in a band called Out Loud they play Phila. and little clubs in Burlington County N.j.

Great stuff!! That whole time period was very strange. One minute the record buying public wanted hard rock w/ flair. They wanted to see a rock star up there playing it. The next, it was all about NO IMAGE, and NOT following any artists that had that whole rock star vibe. Cobain killed over a decade of hair metal almost overnight. weird times for all. Many record companies also cleaned house in 1993 or so. The whole industry was upside down.
