Afghanistan struggles with unemployment - 20 Jan 09

As president, Obama has promised to shift the focus of the so-called war on terror from Iraq to Afghanistan.

He's pledged to improve security and increase pressure on the Taliban.

But many Afghans are hoping the new US leader will also help fight poverty.
