Activision Classics - Fishing Derby

My PlayStation friend is hard to beat at this game. Not impossible, since I have beaten him once before, and that was on this past Thanksgiving Day, the most depressing of them all since there was no meal because of my parent's fear of the ants. It was as if he was trying to comfort me from my sadness. AT LEAST HE UNDERSTANDS MY FEELINGS UNLIKE JERKY HUMANS! I also remember my uncle playing this game with me, making comments about the shark whenever it gets a fish from him.

In Fishing Derby, two players compete against each other for the fish. Fish, depending on depth, can range from 2-6 points, or pounds, if caught. There is also a shark that swims close to the surface that eats the fish if they are reeled too close (the number that can be eaten is infinite). The first to get 99 points/pounds wins.

My fish ended up getting eaten by the shark a couple of times, and once for my friend. I did catch a few close-to-the-surface fish, also. I don't like the end score for me, however. I don't really like the year 1982...

I really love how the string moves and changes color. Physics in games were a lot cooler back then. By the way, 1982 was a great year!
