I'm not satisfied with a lot of editing issues on this, but am uploading so I can show it to specific people. Hopefully I'll have some experience editing help soon to deal with some of the issues.

Meanwhile, a first look at Graveyard Shift: A Zomedy of Terrors. Song - Dead Man's Eyes by Jo Carley.

Thanks for the honest critsism. The day for night is going to get done properly, this was a first experiment on that. All 3 lead actors were brilliant to work with, it's the character who is a plank. ;)

As for the gypsy, we were going for kitch on that one. In context, it works.

  • The two lead guys seem like very good actors (especially the non-zombie) but the lead girl is a plank and the woman with the shaky "generic Eastern European" accent is truly awful. The action scenes need more angle variety & tighter editing, and if I were you I'd try REALLY hard to find a way to actually shoot at night instead of DFN. It didn't work in 1953 and it certainly won't work now. Aside from those criticisms (and the sound quality of course) this is definitely a step up in your work.

The feature is 16:9 DV, this upload was wmv and the sound hasn't really been addressed yet. Hopefully the next attempt on the day for night will be an improvement, I'm doing the fix-its on the full sceens now and will re-cut this when I've got them all done.

  • it does look amateur but thats to be expected with the low budget. Out of curiosity what format is the feature to be released?

If its online you'd probably be fine but anything larger than small screen and you'll have trouble getting the sound and image to hold up.

Gods no, I despise 3-D. Can't wait until it dies again.

  • Is this coming out in 3D?
