I saw her perform this on German tv and spent the next two years looking for it. I now own every mix of it on cd and vinyl :) I just fell in love with this tune.

On the cd singles were mixes by Roy Malone (this one), The Z.E.N. remixes, the Santana's Love mixes and the unplugged version. There might be others on vinyl. I saw there is one cd single of it for sale on Amazon in the US but it doesn't say which mixes are on it. She also recorded a rather nice version of Madonna's Live To Tell, which was also remixed by a few people. I think with the proper publicity, Looking For Love could have been a major hit all over Europe.

Her pronounciation doesn't help, either... I can make out about half of the lyrics. But not knowing what she sings doesn't make me love this record any less :) I couldn't find the lyrics on the Internet either.

I remember playing this song, esp. this version, over and over when it first came out in the states!! what a truly beautiful song :) uniquely Italian/Euro dance with the typical sadness lyrics accompanied by a dance background. great memories..thank you for uploading this version!!
